TOURISM IN THE ISLAND
Certainly, it is no secret that Bali is one of the 'paradise' for tourism in the world. This island has been repeatedly recognized by the international community as the best tourist destination in the world, even one of the best city in Asia according to Conde Nast Traveler Award of Ubud which is located in the middle of the island of Bali. This should be the pride of us all as Indonesia and become hyper other areas to form the 'image' based on each region's potential.
Therefore, Bali is one tourist destination so I tried to write about space tourism on the island of Bali. I mean just simply sharing information for those who want to travel to Bali or for those who live in Bali but want to travel to tourist places in Bali. It also illustrates just how the tourism sector in Bali is very influential in the use of space.
As stated in Regulation No. 16 of 2009 on Bali RTRWP space for the development of tourism in Bali is divided into 3 (three) spaces are Tourism Regions - in Indonesian called Kawasan Pariwisata (KP), Area of Special Tourist Attraction - in Indonesian called Kawasan Daya Tarik Wisata Khusus (KDTWK), and Attractions - in Indonesian called Daya Tarik Wisata (DTW). Also determined that in Bali there are 16 (sixteen) tourist area, 5 KDWTK and approximately 156 DTW so you can imagine how this island is a 'paradise' for tourism activities.
To illustrate this policy, I try to describe the existing tourism activities and its relationship with tourism spaces described earlier.
In Bali, the main tourist center are Kuta and Tuban with the presence of Ngurah Rai international airport, so any tourists (especially those using air transportation) will be directly set foot on Tourism Regions Kuta and Tuban.
After the Tourism Service Center Kuta / Tuban then the tourists will spread and visit 14 other tourism region which I think is the Sub Service Center of Tourism. As for the Area of Special Tourist Attraction (KDTWK) itself seems to be the region that have limited tourism development for many reasons, especially the preservation of the environment.
For Tourist Attractions tourist resorts are scattered throughout Bali and functioning as a travel / recreation to support a limited tourist facilities so that they provide tourism services are also limited / incomplete.
Tourism Regions (KP)
Almost all tourism region is a region with the main attraction is the sea and only one area that has a natural attraction of rural and social culture is Ubud. On the whole tourist area is available supporting facilities of tourism, so if you do not use the service / travel agent then you will still be able to obtain sufficient information on the centers of this tourism regions.

Pelebon in Ubud, is the funeral ceremony,
one of the cultural attractions in Ubud Tourism Regions
Area of Special Tourist Attraction (KDTWK)
KDTWK with natural attractions in the mountains is KDTWK Kintamani Bangli District and KDTWK Bedugul-Pancasari in Tabanan and Buleleng regency, while the region with the attraction of coastal beauty is KDTWK Tanah Lot in Tabanan, Jembrana Regency KDTWK Palasari, and KDTWK Gilimanuk in the District Jembrana.

This is one of the natural panorama of lake and mountains that you can enjoy in KDTWK Bedugul
Attractions (DTW)
Characteristics of each tourist atrraction in Bali can be downloaded at here.
Thus my description briefly about policy and provision of space systems in supporting the development of tourism sector in Bali. We strongly hope that the established policy can be implemented properly so that the level of social welfare in Bali is also increasing.
